| A good amount of people play online poker for a living because the game is so easily accesible. The only thing a person that plays poker for a living has to do is get up in the morning and turn on their computer and they are at work.
It sounds great but it is not for everyone. So before you run out and quit your day job make sure you are the right type of person that can play online poker for a living. Below are somethings you should do to help with a transition into becoming a pro. Take the game seriously everytime you play. Practice, practice, practice. Learn how to spot the weak players because that is where you can make a good amount of your earnings. Only play what you are willing to lose. Learn whenever you can by reading books, reading blogs, and visiting forums. You can also win more money by playing few hands. If you are willing to follow those tips and get serious about becoming the best poker player you can become, it will only be a matter of time before you can quit your day job. |
