The Donks Win â I am Retiring from Limit Poker
After consistent success at the no-limit tables, I decided to take a stab at limit poker about one month ago. While I have been profitable during my foray into the limit world, my level of profitability is in no way comparable to the success realized during my no-limit playing days. Consequently, I am hereby retiring from limit poker, and happily returning to no-limit.
With roughly $1,500 of limit poker winnings (more than half from bonuses/rakeback), I am retreating with my tail between my legs. The level of play at the lower stakes tables of limit poker is absolutely ghastly, but I am unable to find a way to generate a consistent high rate of return.
Instead of realizing the wild success I was expecting, the month was fraught with frustration and anger. I cannot recall a time during my poker âcareerâ during which I cursed at, yelled at, and wished death/disease on so many people. This is evidenced by the publishing of my now famous post during this period: Wishing Pain and Death on Your Opponents.
So I would like to congratulate all the donkeys out there who contributed to my departure from the limit poker world. I welcome each and every one of you to play no-limit poker, so that I can exact my revenge.
FU to all of you.
