| A large part of your success will come from understanding your profitability as a poker player. Your level of profitability can vary by site played, stakes, type of game, or even time of day. However, without accurate record-keeping of your performance, you will not be able to maximize your performance by focusing on what works. Additionally, keeping an accurate poker log will assist in tax reporting as discussed here.

While everyone’s poker habits vary, as well as your information needs, this file should serve as a good starting point for tracking your poker play.
