Overview -

Noble Poker is a new site that has been taken over by Empire Online. They have good bonuses for mid and high-stakes players. The software is good and the players are weak, making for an enjoyable and rewarding poker room experience. The site is on a network with other new sites, and so is likely to become more successful as their combined traffic grows.

Money - 7/10

Noble Poker have a pretty good deposit bonus, with 50% up to $100 available. The bonus can be worked off by earning ‘Crowns’ at ring games. The bonus isn’t too hard to work off, especially at the mid and high-level tables. There is a weekly $1,000 depositor freeroll, as well as smaller daily freerolls. You can earn WSOP seats at the site through satellites starting at as little as $1 buy-in. Noble also have a Sit ‘n Go promotion, whereby you can get $100,000 for winning 6 consecutive tournaments. They also sometimes host $1 million tournaments, which you can gain entry to by playing in $6 satellites. Noble has good backing and so most payments are dealt with in 24 hours. As you use the site more and more, the processing time usually decreases. Virtually all deposit methods are accepted, and there is a minimum deposit of $20.

Interface and Customer Service - 8/10

Noble poker has software with good graphics and nice features. Noble used to have a 3-D view but this was removed, although the birds-eye view is still clear and easy to use. The hand history list is one of the best around, with a good layout and graphical view. There is a chat box that allows you to talk to other players, if you so desire. However, the lobby shows all empty tables, which can be really annoying. Despite this annoyance, the package is above average, and the games run quickly. Customer service is also very good, with telephone, live chat and email support available. Complaints are handled quickly and responses on all types of support are excellent.

Player Difficulty and Frequency - 7/10

The players at Noble are usually quite inexperienced, and have been attracted to the site through promotions. There are plenty of poor players to take advantage of, and if you play tight you will do well. The play is getting better at the higher levels, with more action available now even as high as $5 and $10 no-limit. Player traffic has improved considerably with the promotions on offer, although it is still below a lot of the established sites. The best traffic can be found in fixed-limit games, even up to the high stakes.

Tournaments - 6/10

Tournaments at Noble Poker are also improving, and there are quite a number of events on offer. The small stakes events regularly attract a few hundred players, and the mid-stakes events usually get into three figures for participation as well. They have a good range of buy-in amounts, for both the small and large bankrolls. The freerolls are very popular but the prizes are poor and you might be playing against 1,000 players for around $30. Overall, the tournament range is solid but not spectacular, and there are not enough good guaranteed events on offer.
